entry: Thanks alot man ... I am glad .
And mihael ... I completly agree with you ... But do you know how much movies can have sensation on people ?! You don't think so this movie is a vituperation to a great civilization in the name of Persia ? when wild Persian army die all are happy . cause they are like Orks , cause they are not humans , cause they don't know about freedome ... How i can forgot Cyrus the great ? My father ... How i can think this is just a movie when i see they make me like monster ? And all are happy when they see that i am dieing ? I am Persian and i honor myself that i am ... I honor myself that our father is Cyrus ... the first humanity law is for him .
He made free slaves in Persian territory . This movie is very beautiful and has a great graphic novel but i wished it was right in document .
Thanks alot

entry: Ehsan, I understand your feelings. Just like the movie Troy, people *will* believe this to be historically accurate to a degree, after all, it is based on real people. But to put you at ease a little. When I saw the trailers, I thought, "there is a phony movie that only exists for sensationalism." I knew it without even knowing what it was about. I just knew something was wrong with it and even though it would have great CG, I decided not to see it at that time (I surf this site for great CG... ). So there are people who can tell things are amis without knowing any historical facts.

And wow James ... I like troy too ... You knew in the art of that movie , they used lots of Persian symbols for castels . For example lutus . A flower in persepolise ...
I agree ... 300 the movie is very nice but ...
Thanks for your kind words ... This is so hard that you hear that people say you hey you wild Persian ... This is really hard . Why ? Why they show us like monsters ? Why they only lie .
This is not just a graphic novel ...

entry: Hey Ehsan
I understand what you say , ...I think 3oo movie is just a film made based on a graphic novel, itīs just fantasy. The true historical characters are completely different , the Persians in the movie donīt look and donīt act like Persians and the Spartans too. Reminds me the "Commodus" character in "Gladiator" , completely different from the real life Commodus.
This movie soundīs much more like fictional mythology than historical. I know the Persians create very important things to mankind and i know theyīre not like this strange characters in the movie . itīs just a fictional movie. In fact... only the visuals attracts my attention in this film.
Peace, bro.

Cheers!

entry: The story of Frank Miller's 300 was chosen to be made into a movie at this particular time due to the current political situation. Political messages were added which were not in the original work. The movie's intended use is obvious, but people don't care about being fed propaganda, all they want is a story and characters they can project themselves into. As they marvel at the pectoral muscles of their idols, they do not notice the underlying message. Throw an hungry dog his own master's leg and he will eat it.

Hopefully more people have realized this. As for you Ehsan, keep on making that art of yours, there are things we can't or shouldn't bother to change ourselves. "Never does the sun remain behind a cloud." Eventually people will understand what they have been fed
